Who is Norann Dillon?
Norann is a stay-at-home mother with four teenage children. Armed with a college education, she chose to make the home her career. She has built her experience through the service of others, being involved with groups and agencies that relate to her family and her children. Over the years, she has established a track record of results:
- As a grant writer for an agency that served foster and adoptive families, she wrote grants for specific projects and general operations, including securing over $50,000 at a critical time to prevent it from shutting down.
- As a manager for a charitable clothing resale shop that benefitted foster children, she doubled store sales in two years through improved quality, service and marketing.
- As a parent-teacher organization (PTO) president at FAIR School in Crystal, she incorporated the agency with the Minnesota Secretary of State, applied and received 501(c)(3) federal tax exemption status, and doubled volunteer involvement with an innovative pledge program.
In short, if Norann Dillon chooses to be involved with a project, she will work hard to improve it. With her track record of service and results, we can expect the same strong effort at the Minnesota capitol.
